Jordan – 2011
Earlier in 2011 Misti and I had traveled to South Africa with our grandson Nick and it was a memorable trip. The same year in February we went to a family reunion in Florida and a trip in August to Wyoming and the Dakotas. By the fall we were itching for another adventure and decided to combine a week in Jordan with a cruise on the Azamara Quest to visit Israel, Rhodes, Turkey and Greece.
The highlight of the trip was the time we spent in Jordan. Jordan isn’t high on American tourist’s itineraries and there are no cruise ship facilities although some ships bus their gueststo Petra by way of Aquaba.
